 EPILEPSY

Epilepsy is a neurological disorder. It is characterized by fits of convulsions that end with loss of consciousness. Why are convulsions (jerking) taking place? They are taking place because the quality of the bio-chemicals being transmitted by an axon is inferior. A neuron (nerve cell) has two ends: axon and several dendrites. An axon is at one end of a neuron. It uses bio-chemicals to transmit an impulse. This impulse is received by a dendrite, the tail end of another neuron.

The entire human being is a giant communication network. Nothing happens in the human body without communication. Therefore, anything that occasionally delays communication is interfering with the normal function of the cells of the mind and of the entire nervous system. Scientists who studied epilepsy have firmly concluded that the break in the electrical circuitry is taking place within the cerebral cortex. But they could not figure out what the underlying cause was. The cause lies beyond the scope of medical technology.
